Work usually slows down around the winter holidays. People are getting ready to have family over and celebrate, so the last thing anyone would want is to have construction coinciding with a holiday gathering. This break allows us to recoup some energy, maintain equipment and tools, and even work on some projects of our own.

This is a home renovation we have been slowly working on when we have some time off from 'real work'. Our goal is to update this 19th century farm house into a cottage/farmhouse style, keeping true to the original design and coastal community nearby. It is located near to a 250 acre cattle farm and is less than 10 minutes to the beach and a popular coastal town.

Here is another small project which is on the drawing board and will be next on the list after the above house is finished. This is a concept to convert a run down shed into an art studio. Hopefully the New Year will bring some fun and interesting projects our way!
